Hi Paula, I'm the first one to reach for CS and use it liberally. But, as you said, there are many possibilities regarding the tongue showing symptoms not at all related to cancer. In chinese medicine, the tongue is used to diagnose ailments from kidney disfunction to liver failure to hormone deficiencyexcess. People tend to get paniky when something unusual turns up. Vast improvement, but still not completely gone yet. About licking stamps. I have heard that before. Her tongue does not look like a swollen area or a bump. It was like a few little white looking strands and it was very sore and had pain. It is just in one area in the center. I don't think licking stamps is a good idea, but I can not imagine a roach hopping out either. Not funny. In any event it appears to be healing but is not completely gone. Someone not following these conversations could be easily led the situation and post title to believe that CS cures tongue cancer.
