Yes, I have used it and it worked very well. But the only time my dogs ever
had issue with their ears was when I was feeding kibble, i.e. a high-carb diet.
The ear problem was hot & itchy ears from yeast overgrowth, and the CS was
only needed for one or two doses at most to resolve a flare-up. But once I
started feeding a raw & home-prepared diet, with very few carbs, they never had
a problem with their ears again. That was about five years ago.

You just put a dropperful in the ear, cup your hand over it and massage it
gently for a moment or two, and then stand back... the dog will shake its head
vigorously and it seems shakes out all the CS, but whatever is left is enough,
apparently. Some folks (who are totally unfamiliar with CS) have been hesitant
to squirt "water" in their dogs ear, but it's a small amount.

My breed is particularly prone to ear problems as they have small, tight ears
and not uncommonly have unusually small (stenotic) ear canals. I have had
reports from others who have used it for their dogs' ears and nearly all of
them says it cleared up the problems. I would suggest if your dog has chronic
ear issues to seriously consider the diet you're feeding as the most likely
culprit. In a high carbohydrate environment, yeast flourish abundantly.

And no, dogs do not need much, if any, carbohydrate in their diet at all.. a
major pet food company, Waltham, did a study some years ago to find out what
their carbohydrate requirements were, and the study concluded that dogs have no
demonstrable need for carbohydrates. Which I must say I'm amazed that they
published that study, seeing as most kibbles are about 80% carbs. It certainly
couldn't have increased their sales.
