A while ago you researched on alternative braces for your child without
nickel. I wondered what you found. My son's tested highly allergic to nickel
and aluminum of which metal and clear braces are made of. All ortho's use
those metals exclusively here and all insist on a full panaoramic of upper and
lower and a cephalogram of the head with repeated X-rays for monitoring
progress.
This radiation exposure to developing childrens heads and brains concerns me
as does the heavy metal exposure. They both need work done with crowding and
another challenge will be not pulling teeth. Let me know what you found and
any avenues to pursue. There seems to be no holistic orthodontists as there are
