This is a post from this list from a couple of months ago that I saved.
Nancy...

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), also called boneknit,
in form of tincture or a poultice. A friend of mine was in
pain after a meniscus surgery. His knee showed some
swelling and a tender spot. I gave him some Comfrey/Arnica
tincture which he mixed 50/50 with water and soaked
a cotton cloth with, wore it overnight, and was painfree
in the morning (comfrey helps reduce inflammation and
swelling). To help heal bones, one also should take
comfrey internally, but not for a great length of time, as
they found it could harm the liver.

----- Today we just used it sparingly until I could get home - we put it on
him with a Q-tip. When I called the friend, he said that what we did yesterday
was not helping at all. The form of DMSO I bought was in a gel form.

Help if you can - anyone?

Also, since I do think it might be broken - small fracture, does anyone
here know anything about magnets the "MLM type: I can't remember their name.
Would that help, if placed properly to heal a small fracture?

    Thanks
