Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I've been making Cs for a while now, using the basic 2 silver wires, 250ml distilled water and 4 9v batteries. Up till now, I've followed instructions - it's taken about half an hour and I've had a very clear Tyndal (sp?) effect. The past 3 times I've tried it, I've seen the smokey wisps ok, the wires are discolouring but I'm getting a very clear Tyndal effect at the very bottom (where it looks as if there's some residue), but absolutely nothing above that.
I've checked the batteries and they're fine. Why is this happening? Am I actually getting CS? And with the residue there is it safe to use? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated/ Many thanks Kirsteen -- Chaos, confusion, disorder - my work here is done
