Sorry to be rehashing an old subject but wanted to add a some ideas to help the 
ladies who are hot.
Try using tropical fruits - last couple of summers I have one to two bananas 
per day.
Try adding vitamin E pill - during a recent problem I used large amounts of E 
and ended up freezing. So this summer I will be adding one pill daily to my 
regime.
Try looking into herbs called "refrigerants". If you can find a copy of "The 
Herb Book" by John Lust he lists herbs by function and uses the term 
refrigerant. Not my favorite herb book but it can be picked up cheaply on 
Amazon. Have not used this approach, but may try it next summer.
Hope some of this helps. A banana and a vitamin E is a good starting place. Be 
careful and proceed with caution as you look for ways to cool down. I'm pretty 
miserable in the summer and we have floor fans (metal) all over the house, and 
that helps alot too!
