Deborah,

No I have rarely used Vitamin E so far in life. I have had on occasion
with other vitamins; i.e. after I broke a leg years ago for instance to
synergistically work with other vitamins.

As I may have to have a surgery sometime this year, I just don't feel that I
should mess with taking it and frankly I am never sick. Since it will thin
your blood, it's a vitamin, I don't take unless it's in a multivitamin.

Heat and Hot and my experiment:

LIST:

About 7 years ago, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, a Ph.d friend of mine
had written out a protocol to get my body acclimated to the heat if I moved
to Phoenix AZ from Atlanta....
Since I am very heat sensitive; my hypothalmus does not work at all;
mercury poisoning, inherited, several reasons. Even from a young child on,
as a marathon runner, I would run, win the race and cross the finish line
and throw up from the heat - long before I experienced the mercury
poisoning, child bearing and a lot of things..
SO anyway - I think - (can't remember for sure) that the protocol he had
written out for me was the following which I started myself on about a week
ago.

Every other day: Belladonna 30x 2 tablets (I use Hyland's brand)
Belladonna is for "fevers and inflammations" (remember the law of
similars)

Every other day: Take one Yucca capsule; locally I am limited but I am
taking Natures Way Herbal Single Yucca stalk 490 mg. [Yucca is for
inflammation, too.]

He had told me that I needed to this about 3 months in order to "prime" or
get my body to regulate itself to the intense heat in Arizona. I never
moved there, but I am going to try this and report back to the CS list in
about 6 weeks as we will be at 90 degrees where I live in S. Georgia soon.
We live in what is basically a high desert. so by the end of April we will
already be at 90 - 95 degree days and cold nights. Mid July we hit as high
as Phoenix some days - we never get the media exposure as to what we are
going through like Phoenix, but my thermometer in the shade here has hit 115
degrees for as much as 2 - 3 weeks straight from 3 pm to 6 pm. I've had it
still be 105 degrees at midnight.

Reporting back to let everyone know in about 6 weeks and then again in 3
months. I am very very heat sensitive, so if it works for me, it should
work for others.

p.s. probably the reason why Vitamin E would work is because it thins your
blood so be careful if you do that !!
