I knew if I waited long enough...they would declare Chocolate one of the main food groups)
Hersheys and Ghiradelli have a new bar out...70% Cocoa...which is really great..the 70% I mean...I haven't tasted either one yet. But I do use Ghiradellis Semi Sweet Choc. Chips.. 60%... frequently. Rather then buy cookies for my grandkids I make an Oatmeal Walnut Choc. Chip batch up for them often. I use King Arthurs UNbleached flour and and Kellers UNsalted butter. I also use Raw Sugar instead of the regual granulated. If they are going to have a treat it might as well be healthy..I figure the Oats (not instant) and the Walnuts and Choc. Chips have some redeeming value. Also use the choc chips to make a hot choc daily. Use Lo Fat Organic Milk and about 1/3 of a cup of the Ghiradelli 60% choc chips. Just heat slowly and whisk well...add a few shakes of a nice Organic Cinnamon and you have a pretty healthy drink.
