Just because you didn't have any cavities after doesn't mean there wasn't any 
damage being caused to the mercury fillings.  Perhaps the hydrogen peroxide was 
cleaning your teeth well all over and you didn't have any cavities but did you 
ever research to find out if it was also releasing mercury into your system?  
Hydrogen Peroxide does react with metal from all that I know and have been 
told.  When my last amalgam fillings are gone next month I fully intend to use 
hydrogen peroxide as a rinse.

Several years ago I began treating my mouth with peroxide after brushing
my teeth at night.  When I went to the dentist he found no cavities &
asked what I'd been doing.  He said 'It's working GREAT, keep it up!!!"
I have several amalgam fllings.
