To all who contemplate using a microwave oven power supply to make EIS/CS:
You are dealing with about the same high voltage and current as is used in
an electric chair to execute people!!  It can just as easily kill you if you
don't know what you are doing.  I have years of high voltage experience, and
have produced seven foot arcs (Tesla Coils), but I would NEVER use a
microwave oven to make CS because it is too dangerous.  There is just no
reason to do so.  You can make large quantities using safe, low voltages.
The good ones work unattended, so it doesn't really require more than a
minute or so of your time to set it up and turn it on.

Again, I urge you to stay away from lethal voltages and currents associated
with microwave oven power supplies!!
