Betreff: SIM as a GUI TAB in our application "retro*share"

till> anyone there?
till> Ok, seem to be all at work, so maybe you read later:
till> this is Till, I am a member of the team from retro*share.sf.net
till> it is developed in c++ with QT GUI
till> We have the plan to implement a TAB in retro*share, which is the SIM
Messenger (mainwindow)
till> I want to ask, if you are interested in this cooperation/collaboration.
It would allow to distribute SIM as well over the retro*share filesharing
application and it is really just a GUI integration.
wRAR> so, SIM window will be a part of your window? or what?
till> We can offer for this a website menue tab page with a description of SIM.
So we will do extra marketing for SIM.
* muh2000_ has joined #sim
till> yes a tab like in emule, like a transfer tab and it is in the retro*share
main window, as your sim maingui is quite compact as one window, all the rest
would stay as it is, click and open up a pop up window like your Gui is
till> so we just want the SIM mainwindow as a tab in retro*share, see the
homepage for the screenshots.
till> First I want to ask if this is ok, think it is GPL
till> then I want to state, as You develop as well with QT4, that it would be a
perfect match.
till> I can offer a website for SIM and we will support it.
till> Then furthermore we want to implement a patch for VOIP. 2 developers,
dolf and leon, are working on it.
till> We could provide as well this patch then for SIM: SIM in retro*share and
SIM as well as the normal standalone gui
till> I want to ask, if there is interest, and of course, if there are updates
of sim, if there is someone with interest, to update as well the code in
retro*share, as I guess, we have otherwise always the same code branche in,
especially, if you switch in the summer to a FULL QT-4.32. GUI
till> Maybe someone has interest to join our team
till> if this is the case, mail me or Dr. Bob, who is the project leader.
till> my mail is: see this mail and/or bob: you find on the sf-homepage.
till> As I do not know, if this in IRC is read by all developers, I may send it
to the mailinglist as well?
till> If you like to have a webpage in front of the wikipage for SIM, I can
create one and join for this partial job as well the SIM team.
till> Dr. Bob has a lot of work to do, but we are open for a SIM integration as
a gui tab. Either Bob with Def*nax is doing it, or maybe if someone wants to
join for that short job, we appreciate you /this !
till> I guess creating a TAB for the SIM Messenger in the retro*share GUI,
which is QT for the individual windows and FLTK for the frame, would take 2-3
days to code. We have as well a design study for a mainwindow done in QT only,
but we need to stick it to the c++ code. But the other gui with FLTK is working
(as you can download retro*share) and we just need another tab, which is the
SIM-main.
till> Please mail me, if there is any interest, e.g. after you read the webpage
maybe.
till> It should be only a gui integration. With the option, that 2 developers
provide as well for SIM VOIP Phone calls implemented as a patch installer. (or
later in your code)
till> see here the feature-item:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1688302&group_id=178712&atid=886242
till> the retro*share website: http://retroshare.sourceforge.net/
till> and the coders, wanting to offer a VOIP integration in Retro*share (and
if you like in SIM as well): http://tstone.sourceforge.net/
wRAR> of course you better should send this to sim-im-main@
till> ok
