EU COUNCIL OF MINISTERS SENT POSITIVE SIGNALS TO SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO
NEGOTIATIONS ON STABILIZATION AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT YEAR

Podgorica - Yesterday in Luxembourg Diplomacy Chiefs of European Union
(EU) agreed that the term for EU negotiations on the Agreement of
stabilization and association with the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
(FRY) should be adopted by the end of this or at the beginning of next
year - report Podgorica`s media quoting news agencies` sources.

The attitude was accepted while waiting in the meantime for the
establishment of joint economic and customs space of Montenegro and
Serbia and institutions of the new state - quote "Vijesti".

Although EU Ministers have not supported the French proposal to
immediately begin negotiations with FRY, the Council of Ministers has
still sent positive signals to Serbia and Montenegro to put effort in
"strengthening co-operation and opening FRY`s European perspective".

SOLUTION TO THE CRISIS EXPECTED SOON

Podgorica - This week might be crucial for knowing whether the
Montenegrin Government crisis will soon be resolved or it would be
postponed for the post-election period, i.e. after 15 May - said the
spokesman of Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Igor Luksic.

According to Luksic, to delay the forming of Government till after
elections "would not be favourable for Montenegro". He reminded of the
attitude of his party, which expects that Prime Minister Filip Vujanovic
and President of the Parliament Vesna Perovic give back their terms
simultaneously. Upon that act depends the beginning of the coalition
Government of the reform bloc.

THE MAYOR OF PODGORICA MIOMIR MUGOSA:
USA INVESTMENT OF $28 MILLION IN SEVEN MONTENEGRIN MUNICIPALITIES

Podgorica - American Organization for Development (USAID) will invest
$28 million in the course of the next three years for development
projects in seven Montenegrin municipalities - announced the mayor of
Podgorica Mr. Miomir Mugosa.

The decision on approving of those funds, according to Mugosa, is due in
May. That is why it is very important to have the projects of
infrastructure and other objects done, in order to present them to the
international investor.

TOURIST SEASON BEGINS AT THE COAST OF MONTENEGRO
FIRST FOREIGN GUESTS ARRIVE TODAY

Podgorica - Today's arrival of foreign guests to Becici (hotel
"Panorama") has officially announced the opening of this year's tourist
season at the Montenegrin coast.

Hotel-tourist organization HTP "Milocer", the owner of "Panorama", has
as yet sold 80% of its capacities at the foreign market.

Currently the most visited hotel in Budva is the grand hotel "Avala",
while the rest of the HTP objects at the "Riviera of Budva" will be
opened by the end of April. Summer resort "Sveti Stefan" will welcome
its first guests on 1 May.


"DR SIMO MILOSEVIC" INSTITUTE IN IGALO
SIGNED NEW CONTRACTS WITH NORWEGIANS

Podgorica - "Dr Simo Milosevic" Institute in Igalo is expected to
welcome around 1200 patients from Norway from May till September - the
health facility managers announce.

An arrangement on in-patient treatment of 500 Norwegian patients has
been made earlier within the state programme of Norwegian Health
Ministry, and recently an additional contract on treatment of a new
group of patients from Oslo has been made too.


NEGOTIATIONS ON UKRAINIANS SPENDING SUMMER VACATIONS AT THE MONTENEGRIN
COAST CHARTER-FLIGHTS FROM KIEV TO TIVAT

Podgorica - Representatives of the Ukrainian tour-operator "Sputnjik"
are spending a couple of days at the Montenegrin coast, where they will
make arrangements with the hotelkeepers from the Rivieras of Budva and
Bar on the Ukrainian tourists` vacations at the Montenegrin coast.

According to the signed contracts, charter-flights from Kiev to Tivat
will be arranged twice a week from June 20 until September10.

SAVJET MINISTARA EU POSLAO POZITIVNE SIGNALE CRNOJ GORI I SRBIJI
PREGOVORI O STABILIZACIJI POCETKOM NAREDNE GODINE

Podgorica - Sefovi diplomatija Evropske unije (EU) juce u Luksemburgu
zakljucili su da mandat za pocetak pregovora EU o Sporazumu o
stabilizaciji i asocijaciji sa Saveznom Republikom Jugoslavijom (SRJ)
treba da bude usvojen do kraja ove ili pocetka iduce godine-pisu
podgoricki mediji,pozivajuci se na agencijske izvore.

Taj stav prihvacen je u ocekivanju da se u medjuvremenu uspostavi
zajednicki ekonomski i carinski prostor Srbije i Crne Gore i ustanove
njihove nove drzave-navode ''Vijesti''.

Iako ministri EU nijesu podrzali francuski predlog da EU odmah zapocne
pregovore sa SRJ o Sporazumu o stabilizaciji pridruzenju, Savjet
ministara ipak je poslao pozitivne signale Srbiji i Crnoj Gori, kako bi
se ulozili napori za "jacanje saradnje i otvaranje evropske perspektive
SRJ''.

USKORO RJESENJE KRIZE

Podgorica - Tokom ove sedmice moglo bi biti izvjesno da li ce kriza
crnogorske Vlade biti uskoro rijesena ili ce to biti odlozeno za period
nakon lokalnih izbora, odnosno 15. maja - ocjena je portparola vladajuce
Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS) Igora Luksica.

 Luksic je rekao da odlaganje formiranja nove Vlade "nakon izbora ne bi
bilo povoljno za Crnu Goru", podsjetivsi na stav svoje partije da
premijer Filip Vujanovic i predsjednik Parlamenta Vesna Perovic
istovremeno vrate mandat, te da od toga zavisi pocetak koalicione Vlade
reformistickog bloka.

GRADONACELNIK PODGORICE MIOMIR MUGOSA:
AMERIKANCI ULAZU 28 MILIONA DOLARA U SEDAM CRNOGORSKIH OPSTINA

Podgorica - Americka organizacija za razvoj (USAID) u naredne tri godine
ulozice 28 miliona dolara u razvojne projekte u sedam crnogorskih
opstina - najavio je gradonacelnik Podgorice Miomir Mugosa.

Odluka o odobravanju tih sredstava, prema rijecima Mugose, ocekuje se
vec u maju, zbog cega je bitno da se urade projekti infrastrukturnih i
drugih objekata, sa kojima ce se konkurisati kod medjunarodnog
investitora.

NA CRNOGORSKOM PRIMORJU POCINJE SEZONA
DANAS STIZU PRVI INOSTRANI GOSTI

Podgorica - Dolaskom prvih stranih gostiju u becicki hotel "Panorama"
danas ce zvanicno biti otvorena  turisticka sezona na Crnogorskom
primorju.

Hotelsko-turisticko preduzece HTP "Milocer", koje je vlasnik "Panorame",
na strano trziste do sada je prodalo 80 odsto kapaciteta.

Na podrucju Budve, inace je trenutno najposjeceniji  grand hotel
"Avala", dok ce ostali objekti HTP "Budvanska rivijera" biti otvoreni
krajem aprila, a ljetovaliste "Sveti Stefan" prve goste ocekuje 1. maja.

INSTITUT DR "SIMO MILOSEVIC" U UGALU
POTPISANI NOVI UGOVORI SA NORVEZANIMA

Podgorica - U institutu "Dr Simo Milosevic" u Igalu od maja do septembra
ove godine boravice oko 1200 pacijenata iz Norveske - najavljuju
odgovorni iz te zdravstvene ustanove.

 Ranije je ugovoreno lijecenje 500 norveskih pacijenata u okviru
drzavnog programa Ministarstva zdravlja Norveske, a nedavno je potpisan
dodatni ugovor o lijecenju ekstra grupe od 150 pacijenata iz te Osla.

PREGOVORI O LJETOVANJU UKRAJINACA NA CRNOGORSKOM PRIMORJU CARTER -
LETOVI OD KIJEVA DO TIVTA

Podgorica - Predstavnici ukrajinskog tur - operatora "Sputnjik" ovih
dana borave na Crnogorskom primorju, gdje ce sa hotelijerima na
budvanskoj i barskoj rivijeri sklopiti ugovore o boravku turista iz
Ukrajine na Crnogorskom primorju.

Na osnovu potpisanih ugovora bice planirani i carter letovi na relaciji
Kijev - Tivat, dva puta sedmicno od 20. juna do 10 septembra.
