 Savezni ministar za odbranu Velimir Radojevic izjavio je za danasnje izdanje  "Glasa
Crnogoraca" da Vojska Jugoslavije, kao sistem koji deluje prema odredjenim pravilima, "funkcionise u najboljem redu". Naglasio je i: "Savezno ministarstvo odbrane ima maksimalno korektnu saradnju sa Vojskom Jugoslavije i njenim Generalstabom. Tu su potpuno jasno definisane nadleznosti i Ministarstva i Vojske i nemamo nikavih problema u tom smislu".
 
Saopstenje za javnost Informativne sluzbe Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije (GS VJ), 26. jula 2002. godine
 
U Vojnoj akademiji zavrsila je dvogodisnje skolovanje 49. klasa Komandnostabnog usavrsavanja Skole nacionalne odbrane sa prosecnom ocenom 8,55.
Tokom skolovanja slusaoci su, pored teoretskih oblika nastave iz 18 predmeta, imali i veliki broj casova prakticne nastave na terenu i u jedinicama VJ, tako da su osposobljeni za uspesno obavljanje komandnih i operativnostabnih duznosti u zdruzeno-taktickim jedinicama, vojnoobrazovnim i drugim ustanovama Vojske Jugoslavije.
Najbolji u klasi su major Srdjan Planic, potpukovnik Cedomir Brankovic i major Ranko Zivak. NJima je diplome urucio zastupnik nacelnika Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije general-potpukovnik Branko Krga.
Svecanosti su prisustvovali clanovi Kolegijuma zastupnika nacelnika Generalstaba, najodgovornije staresine Vojne akademije i clanovi porodica slusalaca.
 
Zavrsetak skolovanja oficira 45. klase Generalstabnog usavrsavanja Skole nacionalne odbrane VJ svecano je obelezen u subotu u kasarni na Banjici. Najbolje rezultate tokom jednogodisnjeg usavrsavanja postigli su pukovnik Svetko Kovac, potpukovnik Vladislav Vlahovic i pukovnik Stamenko Novakovic. Savezni ministar za odbranu Velimir Radojevic i zastupnik nacelnika GS VJ general-potpukovnik Branko Krga cestitali su 45. klasi na uspehu, a general-potpukovnik Branko Krga je najuspesnijima urucio oficirske sablje.
 
Zastupnik nacelnika GS VJ general-potpukovnik Branko Krga sa saradnicima obisao je juce Komandu Korpusa Ratne mornarice (RM), gde mu je komandant Korpusa kontraadmiral Mihailo Zarkovic referisao o stanju borbene gotovosti u Korpusu RM, a zatim je posetio Vojnu bolnicu u Meljinama i objekte na Lalovini.
 
Skolski brod "Jadran" uplovio je 28. jula, posle visednevnog studijskog krstarenja i posete Krfu, u maticnu luku Tivat. Svecanom doceku prisustvovali su savezni ministar za odbranu Velimir Radojevic, zastupnik nacelnika Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije general-potpukovnik Branko Krga, komandant Korpusa Ratne mornarice kontraadmiral Mihailo Zarkovic, nacelnik Vojne akademije general-potpukovnik LJubisa Stojimirovic, predsednik opstine Tivat Zoran Jankovic i drugi. Obracajuci se ucesnicima krstarenja, general- potpukovnik Branko Krga je naglasio da njihova poseta Krfu ima znacaj i zbog toga sto to ostrvo simbol stradanja, ali i neunistivosti naseg vojnika.

 Yugoslav Defense Minister Velimir Radojevic stated for today's issue of the "Glas Crnogoraca" that the YA, as a system working in compliance with certain rules, "is operating in excellent condition". He also stressed that the Yugoslav Defense Ministry "cooperates with the Yugoslav Army and the General Staff in a correct manner. The School of National Defense Command staff advanced training 49th class students graduated with the mean grade of 8.55.
During their education, apart from theoretical lectures involving 18 subjects, the students also attended a large number of practical lectures in the field and the YA units, acquiring the knowledge and experience for carrying out command and operative-staff duties in joint tactical units and military educational and other YA establishments successfully.
The best students of the 49th class are Major Srdjan Planic, Lieutenant Colonel Cedomir Brankovic and Major Ranko Zivak. The Acting Yugoslav Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Branko Krga, handed them the diplomas.
Members of the Yugoslav Army General Staff Board, highest officers of the Military Academy and members of the students' families also attended the ceremony.
 
School of National Defense General Staff Advanced Training 45th class students' graduation was formally celebrated last Saturday in the military barracks in Banjica, Belgrade. During the one-year advanced training, the best results were achieved by Colonel Svetko Kovac, Lieutenant General Vladislav Vlahovic and Colonel Stamenko Novakovic. Yugoslav Defense Minister Velimir Radojevic and Acting Yugoslav Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Branko Krga congratulated the 45th class on their success and General Branko Krga handed the best students officer sabers.

Mihailo Zarkovic made a report on the combat readiness situation in the Navy Corps. The General visited Military hospital in Meljine and military facilities in Lalovina afterwards.
 
After more than three weeks of cruising the Mediterranean and international waters, the visit to Corfu, school ship "Jadran" sailed into its original harbour Tivat. The formal reception was attended by the Yugoslav Defence Minister Velimir Radojevic, Yugoslav Army's acting Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Branko Krga, the YA Navy Corps commander Rear Admiral Mihailo Zarkovic, Head of the Military Academy Lieutenant General Ljubisa Stojimirovic, President of the municipality of Tivat Zoran Jankovic and others. Addressing the members of the ship crew, Lieutenant General Branko Krga stressed that their visit to Corfu bore great significance because that island represented the symbol of martyrdom, but also indestructibility of our soldier.
