 Saopstenje za javnost Informativne sluzbe Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije

Povodom novogodisnjih i bozicnih praznika nacelnik Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije general-pukovnik Branko Krga uputio je pripadnicima Vojske Jugoslavije cestitku sledece sadrzine:

"Gospodo oficiri, podoficiri, civilna lica na sluzbi u Vojsci Jugoslavije, vojnici, studenti, slusaoci i ucenici,

U proteklih godinu dana, radeci cesto u veoma slozenim uslovima, zahvaljujuci dobroj organizovanosti i strucnosti i vasem pozrtvovanju, uspesno ste savladali brojne teskoce, obavili postavljene zadatke i dali znacajan doprinos izgradnji i ocuvanju borbene gotovosti jedinica, ustanova i komandi Vojske Jugoslavije u ukupnoj odbrambenoj moci nase otadzbine.

Nesebicnim i profesionalnim radom, svako na svom mestu, doprineli ste ocuvanju mira i bezbednosti svih gradjana nase zemlje. Ocuvali ste cast profesije, iskazali visok stepen odgovornosti i doprineli afirmaciji Vojske Jugoslavije.

Za sve sto ste uspesno uradili u ostvarivanju redovnih zadataka i na jacanju borbene gotovosti i ugleda Vojske Jugoslavije u prosloj godini, odajem vam najvece priznanje.

Cestitajuci vam novogodisnje i bozicne praznike, uveren sam da cemo i u narednoj godini ocuvati mir i stabilnost, kao i uspesno zavrsiti zapocete poslove reorganizacije i modernizacije vojske.

U novoj 2003. godini zelim vam da ostvarite svoje licne i profesionalne zelje, dobro zdravlje i mnogo radosti i srece".

Nacelnik Generalstaba Vojske Jugoslavije general-pukovnik Branko Krga izjavio je da su u toku priprema i upucivanje sanitetskog tima VJ za ucesce u mirovnoj misiji u Kongu, a da ima ponuda i za druge misije. General Krga je za frankfurtske "Vesti" rekao da je motivisanost pripadnika Vojske za ucesce u mirovnim operacijama takva da izbor ne predstavlja problem i naglasio da na te zadatke ne idu vojnici "po naredjenju", vec iskljucivo profesionalni sastav i to na doborovoljnoj osnovi. General Krga je dodao da je tokom 2002. godine iz VJ upuceno 80 oficira i podoficira na razlicite oblike skolovanja i usavrsavanja i to u Veliku Britaniju, Nemacku, Spaniju, Italiju, Madjarsku, Norvesku, Francusku, Rusiju, Cesku... "Pripadnici i jedinice Vojske dobro su obuceni i osposobljeni, te uz malu doobuku i prilagodjavanje savremenim standardima mogu u buducnosti za kratko vreme da budu angazovani u mirovnim misijama", rekao je nacelnik GS VJ. "Trenutno se na skolovanju u Evropi nalazi 20 oficira i podoficira VJ. Troskove skolovanja i usavrsavanja najcesce snose zemlje u koje su upucivane nase staresine", dodao je general Krga i istakao da ce u toku 2003. na specijalizaciju u razne evropske drzave otici 130 oficira VJ".

U garnizonima Vojske Jugoslavije svecanu zakletvu u subotu je polozila decembarska klasa vojnika. Svecanostima su, pored rodbine vojnika i mnogobrojnih gostiju, prisustvovale i delegacije opstinskih organa vlasti. Nacelnik GS VJ general-pukovnik Branko Krga i komandant Beogradskog korpusa general-potpukovnik Radojko Stefanovic uspesne vojnicke dane pozeleli su mladim vojnicima u kasarni "Vojvoda Stepa Stepanovic". U Vazduhoplovno-nastavnom centru u Somboru svecanu obavezu mladim vojnicima, u ime GS VJ, cestitao je general-major Radomir Gordic, a cestitke su uputili i komandant Vazduhoplovno-nastavnog centra potpukovnik Zoran Grujic i predsednik Skupstine opstine Sombor Jovan Vujicic. U kasarni "Sima Pogacarevic" u Vranju svecanosti su prisustvovali pomocnik komandanta Pristinskog korpusa VJ pukovnik Mile Stanojkovic, clan drzavnog Koordinacionog tela za jug Srbije Mica Markovic, potpredsednik Skupstine opstine Vranje dr Dusan Aleksic i predstavnici Ministarstva unutrasnjih poslova. Svecanosti u kasarni "Sinkovac" u Leskovcu prisustvovali su pomocnik nacelnika GS VJ general-potpukovnik Milan Karajovic i komandant kasarne potpukovnik Miodrag Djurovic.

 

Public Announcement of the YA General Staff Information Service

Following New Year's and Christmas holidays, Yugoslav Army's Chief of Staff General Branko Krga sent the following greeting to the members of the Yugoslav Army members:

"Gentlemen commissioned and non-commissioned officers, civilians serving in the YA, soldiers, cadets and students,

Over the last 12 months, you have successfully overcome many difficulties working under very complex conditions thanks to your good organisation, expertise and devotion. You have performed your set tasks and significantly contributed to building up and preserving the combat readiness of units, facilities and commands of the YA in overall defence power of our country.

With your selfless and professional work at your working places respectively, you have contributed to the preservation of peace and security of all the citizens of our country. You have preserved the honour of the profession, displayed high level of responsibility and contributed to the progress of the Yugoslav Army.

I wish to commend you for all you have successfully conducted within the framework of your regular tasks and on reinforcing the combat readiness and reputation of the Yugoslav Army over the last 12 months.

I am positive that during the next year we will preserve peace and stability, as well as successfully complete all the ongoing tasks of reorganisation and modernisation of the Army.

I wish you to fulfill all your personal and professional wishes in 2003, lots of happiness and joy".

Yugoslav Army's Chief of Staff General Branko Krga stated that there were ongoing preparations for sending the YA Medical Team for assignment in Congo, where they would be participating in the peacekeeping mission, but that there were other offers as well. In a statement to the "Frankfurt Zeitung" General Krga said that the motivation of the members of the army to take part in peacekeeping operations was such that the choice did not pose a problem and he stressed that soldiers were not the ones assigned to those tasks "by order", but only professional members on voluntary basis. General Krga added that during 2002, 80 commissioned and non-commissioned officers were sent to different kinds of education and advanced training to Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Norway, France, Russia, the Czech Republic... "Members and the units of the Yugoslav Army are well-trained, and with a little additional training and adjustment to the modern standards, they can be engaged in peacekeeping mission in future", said YA Chief of Staff. "There are 20 commissioned and non-commissioned officers from the YA currently on advanced training in Europe. The education and training expenses are in most cases paid by the countries which our officers were sent to", added General Krga and stressed that during 2003, around 130 officers from the YA would be sent to advanced training in different European countries.


December class of recruits took the solemn oath Saturday in the YA garrisons. Apart from the family members and numerous guests, the ceremonies were also attended by the municipal authorities delegations. Yugoslav Army Chief of Staff General Branko Krga and Commander of the Belgrade Corps Lieutenant General Radojko Stefanovic wished all the best to young generation of soldiers in the "Vojvoda Stepa Stepanovic" military barracks. Major General Radomir Gordic, on behalf of the YA General Staff, as well as the Commander of the Air Force School Center, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Grujic and President of the Sombor Municipal Assembly, Jovan Vujicic congratulated the young soldiers in the Air Force School Center in Sombor. The ceremony in the "Sima Pogacarevic" military barracks in Vranje was attended by the Assistant Commander of the Pristina Corps, Colonel Mile Stanojkovic, member of the Coordinative Body for southern Serbia, Mica Markovic, Vice President Vranje Municipal Assembly, Dusan Aleksic and the representatives of the Ministry of Interior. The oath-taking ceremony in the "Sinkovac" military barracks in Leskovac was attended by the Assistant Yugoslav Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Milan Karajovic and Commander of the military barracks, Lieutenant Colonel Miodrag Djurovic.
