Thanks for your interest in using Flexus.

CMP.MT4 means that each core is 4-way multithreaded. The number of cores that 
are instantiated in such configuration depends on the number of SIMICS CPUs 
that are instantiated in the simulated machine. 

If you simulate a 16-CPU workload, there will be four cores. Each core will be 
4-way multithreaded.

If you simulate a 4-CPU workload, there will be one 4-way multithreaded core.

hi all,



         the result about running CMP and MT4 is as below, using 4core to run, 
but from the result we can see that the IPC of CMP is large than CMP.MT4.

The benchmark is classification with 4 cores.

The configuration of CMP is 4 core, the configuration of CMP.MT4 is 4 cores , 
with 4 threads.

What's the CMP.MT4 means? It means that 4 CMP + 4 MT (16 threads) or just 4 MT 
with single core?
