Hi Mohammad, Before worrying about SimFlex, you must first get your benchmark to run in Simics. There is a lot of information in the Simics Unix User's Guide on how to bring disk images from a real machine into Simics; I suggest you start there.
For transaction-based applications like SpecJBB, we have typically introduced magic break instructions at the start and end of each transaction, so we can count transaction completions. You can take a look at simprint.h to get ideas on how to pass information from the simulated machine to Flexus. In the case of JBB, you will probably need to reimplement what we have done in simprint.h using Java native calls (JNI).
