While you're at it, a bit of code-reuse applying that to virtual printers and virtual paper tape punches would be highly appreciated. Probably a timeout would be sufficient. Nothing written in 30 seconds or some configurable timeout ? That means its time to close the file and get ready to start a new file. Configurable is for the best. Wanna print out ten files real quick, make the timeout like 3 seconds. Wanna "session log" on a permanently operating emulator, make the timeout like 7200 seconds. _______________________________________________ Simh mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.trailing-edge.com/mailman/listinfo/simh
