Right. I forgot DECtapes are block addressable.

Does anyone need any RSX Files-11 on-disk format documentation? I have a paper
copy of Andy Goldstein's 1979 Files-11 documentation. I imagine Al does too.
I could try to find out what the RSX manuals say about the initialization
parameters used for a DECtape. It is quote likely they don't make DECtape a
special case, but use the same parameters for any small capacity disk (like a
floppy).
