I don’t think DEC used a license of any kind (other than the paper
variety, that is) prior to VMS v4. Any DECnet for VMS V3 should work
without any patch or license. Have you tried it? Is that wrong?
That's what I said. But maybe the reference to there not being a LMF was
a bit too cryptic... :-)
Actually, I'm not sure it was even around in V4. I thought it might have
been something that came in V5.
Yeah, LMF came in in V5.
