Well, I don’t really know what I ought to be doing about this one quite yet. I did mount the tape under VMS 7.3, after figuring out that the magtape device is msa0, not MUA0.
It isn’t a file structured volume, however. Backup can’t seem to find any savesets, claiming it isn’t an ANSI tape. Any further ideas from people are appreciated.
