I have KLH10 running on my Linux virtual machine. Tops-20 seems much more 
newbie-friendly than ITS, though I’d love to eventually figure the latter out 
if only for Zork/MDL. ;)

I’m sadly unqualified to begin writing any simulators. It seems KLH10 is the 
one I’ll stick with though, at least for the PDP10.
I take it the front-end console is a thing on a real KL10. Reading instructions 
about how to load tapes and microcode is a little strange when I just have to 
type a few commands into the simulator.
I’m glad the Tops-20 V7 notebooks are available in text form. I’d forgotten 
about that until today. :)
