I have KLH10 running on my Linux virtual machine. Tops-20 seems much more newbie-friendly than ITS, though I’d love to eventually figure the latter out if only for Zork/MDL. ;)
I’m sadly unqualified to begin writing any simulators. It seems KLH10 is the one I’ll stick with though, at least for the PDP10. I take it the front-end console is a thing on a real KL10. Reading instructions about how to load tapes and microcode is a little strange when I just have to type a few commands into the simulator. I’m glad the Tops-20 V7 notebooks are available in text form. I’d forgotten about that until today. :) _______________________________________________ Simh mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.trailing-edge.com/mailman/listinfo/simh
