SIMH is really easy on anything resembling a normal Linux. It can also handle
non-Unix platforms like Windows, if you want to deal with that.
If you have a Linux-capable platform and the necessary tools (for starters,
gcc and binutils), then the answer is simple: load the sources, do "make pdp11"
and see what happens.
