Does SIMH "generate" some kind of SIGxx for CTR-E ? I'm running MPX / SEL32 SIMH "under" (on top ?) of GDB.
When I press CTR-E from MPX it drops to GDB, instead of (the preferred) SIMH. I'm looking now at the gdb handle command, and will start try / error, with all the signals as I haven't found anything with searches for "GDB SIMH / SIMH GDB / SIMH SCPE_STOP GDB ...."
