I was trying to install OpenVMS 7.3 on the VAX 3900 simulator and got the strangest error:
>>>b dua3 (BOOT/R5:50414548 DUA3 2.. -DUA3 1..0.. %BOOT-F-Unknown processor HALT instruction, PC: 00004EC7 (BLBS 4F49,4EC6) I have installed VMS dozens of times and have never received this error before. I am running the newest source and my computer runs Linux Mint 19. Here is a copy of my config: attach nvr nvram.bin ; set cpu 512M ;set qvss enable ; set rq0 rauser=8192 set rq1 rauser=8192 set rq2 rauser=8192 set rq3 cdrom ; attach rq0 d0.dsk attach rq1 d1.dsk attach rq2 d2.dsk ; attach -r rq3 ovms73vaxhkit.iso ; ; set rl disable set ts disable ; set xq mac=08-00-2B-AA-BB-CC attach xq nat:tcp=2323:10.0.2.15:23,tcp=2121:10.0.2.15:21; boot cpu Any advice would be appreciated and for the record.
