2.2 and 2.0 went without a hitch but I had to change the disk size to ra82. I tried 3.0 using the 2.0 standalone boot and it got all the way to partitioning the usr and then it gave me this error.
Making the new file system for /usr on /dev/rra0 RA81 newfs: /dev/rra0: No such file or directory The newfs command failed to construct the /usr file system on partition of the system disk, ra0. This error causes the installation procedure to stop. One possible cause for the error is a corrupt system disk. You may want to replace or use another system disk, and begin the installation again. If this error message appears a second time, contact a DIGITAL representative. # Also, unlike 2.x and 4.x it never asked me what kind of install I wanted to do, Basic or Advanced.
