Hi all...hope someone can help as Im not a programmer and it's night on impossible for me to understand the code. Here's the set up.
Page which has [similetimeline] on it is, http://romaneagles.org/?page_id=17 I am using version 0.39a and I have told it to pull posts only from the category called Timeline. I do not want the post to appear on the first page so I have installed a plugin called, Ultimate Category Excluder - Easily exclude categories from your front page, feeds, and archives. (I get the same error without the Ultimate Category Excluder installed) Here's the Fatal Error...when I access the Simile settings via the Manage console in Wordpress I get no error, only the settings page. When I access the settings via the Admin link near the Simile desription on the Plugin page on Wordpress I get the following... Fatal error: Cannot redeclare stl_update_options() (previously declared in /home/content/r/o/m/romaneagles/html/wp-content/plugins/wp- simile-timeline/options/options-timeline.php:30) in /home/content/r/o/ m/romaneagles/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-simile-timeline/options/ options-timeline.php on line 60 First question is what could this be? Second question is, even though I have selected the category Timeline why from other categories not selected are the first few words of my Published posts appearing on the timeline? ....and lastly...I would like this to be a Roman History timeline and would like to put in BC dates...is this possible? I know that RTFM is the way but this is well and truly over my head. Hope someone can help.
