Hi Damian, I can confirm your report that IE 7 zoom control causes the Timeline display to get messed up.
However, the IE 7 Debug Bar also includes a zoom control, and it works fine with Timeline. See http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?familyid=E59C3964-672D-4511-BB3E-2D5E1DB91038&displaylang=en If you or anyone else can fix the problem, that'd be great. Another important issue: Please try with IE8 Beta. We'll get more of a response from MS if we complain about IE8 since it is still in test phase. I have added issue 42 about this. To demonstrate this, visit http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/ using IE7. There is a page zoom control in the bottom right end of the status bar. Click on it to change it to 125% and then drag the timeline left and right. The text of the labels of the events remains fixed in place while everything else moves around it, and gets clipped by an invisible box vaguely related to the other events. Change the page zoom to 100% and normal behaviour is restored. Is this a known bug? Does anyone have a quick workaround? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
