Disable the mouse, eh? Funky! I'd hope that you'd do some user interface 
testing...

Regarding "periods" of the Timeline, remember that users' browsers will have 
different widths. And that users have the ability to resize their browsers.
Of course, you could try to take that away from them too.

Maybe an alternative would be to use alternating backgrounds for the time 
periods.

Anyhow, after the Timeline and its bands are instantiated, override the band 
object(s)'s methods
 _onMouseDown
 _onMouseMove
 _onMouseUp
 _onMouseOut

to be no-op functions.

hi,
i want to try to navigate trough the timeline, only with buttons
(because it schould only be posible to scroll a constant period). So,
I'm searching for a trick to deactivate the mouse scrolling. Is there
a trick or some code snipets?
