I´m basically trying to do the same. I am not a coder, but shouldn´t
it be possible to just delete the code "open bubble" and replace it
with code "<a href="javascript:ajaxpage
('htmlnamefromXMLfile.htm');">Title form XML file</a>" ?
Another way to do the same would be to just disable the bubble and add
(js-)links to the timeline ? Guess that would be useful for other
projects too.
