Hi Larry:

It's a small world. I have been using a package called ExtJS for some
time now. ExtJS is a direct descendent of the Yahoo package you describe.
Timeline fits nicely into the ExtJS framework. In fact, the Yahoo code on the
page you recommended looks vaguely familiar. Thanks for the heads-up. I
probably should not have strayed so far from my ExtJS path.(LOL)

For drag and drop, I recommend that you check out the Yahoo library. It is far
superior to anything on Dynamic Drive's site, imho.
It is professionally developed by Yahoo engineers for use by Yahoo. In
addition, it is free open source, well documented, and the community support is
excellent.

Regards,

Larry

Hi Alexander:

I am also investigating this. It is not easy! I am using a DnD package from
a web site called Dynamic Drive. The DnD page is:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex11/domdrag/

The main problem is all the stuff you have to drag such as the tape and the
label.

How can I make events drag-and-drop? Can anyone show me the direction
of investigation?
