Hi Olivier, Timeline ver 2's layout heuristic lays out the tapes on the tracks efficiently, but does not guarantee that an event will stay in the same track as the Timeline band is moved. In addition, events are laid out in reverse cronological order, so earlier events are often not at the top of the Timeline.
You can specify the track for your events. Use attribute trackNum. This feature is currently only available in the trunk version. But laying out the tracks by yourself is alot of work....
