Greetings bjwujihua, If you tell Timeline that your dates are in Iso8601 format, then they'll be parsed that way. That's probably what you want.
The default date parsing strategy is if the date string is less than 8 characters long, then parse it as being either just a year, or a year followed by " BC" or " AD" else (most date strings are 8 characters or longer), parse using the browser's built in date object parser.
