Hi all,

I have a URL: /milestones.xq?period=ad1990-2000&id=Oslo

And when I spit it out like this: <span ex:content=".url"></span> it
comes out fine. However if I use <a ex:href-content=".url"><span
ex:content=".label"></span></a> then I get:

<a href="/milestones.xq?period=ad1990-2000&amp;id=Oslo">
<span>
<span>The Oslo Accords</span>
</span>
</a>

The & is escaped into &amp; and that doesn't get parsed on the other
end. You can see this in the live site at http://history.state.gov/,
scroll to the bottom and look at any of the in point in time events.

Not sure if this is because we are using XHTML???

Eric
