The brackets weren't the problem. (alsthough I saw some ( and a ] in
the doc) I used the brackets because of this very helpfull tutorial:

The problem is solved now. I deleted the entire column and cut-pasted
it back into a new row with the same name. I guess of one the fields
had a wrong setting. (although I did try to set all fields in text).
Thanks for your help David. Sorry I couldn find the exact error.
