Hi Lennie, Because the Timeline library exactly sets the placements of icons and tapes, it needs to know the dimensions. So the height is set in the theme, not via css. The assumption is that all icons have the same dimensions (height and width). If that is not true for your application, then either a) Make it true by either resizing the icons or by positioning the smaller actual icons in larger fields of background or transparent color b) or Results will vary--you'll get a Timeline, but it may not look quite the way you want.
See the Theme settings instant.iconWidth instant.iconHeight event.track.height and (optionally) event.tape.height Also see the wiki page on changing theme settings. Unless you want a thicker tape, just change the other settings to enable the icons to be fully visible. If the icon is large (~35px or larger) then you should also investigate the new Compact Painter which is designed to show larger icons and enabling them to overlap as necessary. You will need to use at least release 2.2. Trunk would probably be a better bet.
