David, Those files worked just fine on the Mac with Firefox 3. I did notice that the json file is still being loaded in the <head> <link type="application/json" rel="exhibit/data" href="ComputerHistory.js">
The timeline doesn't display if this is in the <body> Is there a SimileAjax.includeJSONFiles like the SimileAjax.includeJavascriptFiles for the JSON file? Where is the documentation for the javaScript functions so I can look up some of this stuff myself?
