Re: a separate initial setting for reflectionExtent and reflectivity of selected image... If it's difficult or affects performance, it's probably not worth it at this point. The main reason is the display of the titles/subtitles. The text is written below the reflection, which is further down than you would like. There's a lot of wasted white space to the right and left of the text. Also, for the selected image, it may look cleaner to show just the image and subtext without the reflection. Not that big of a deal now. I could probably save white space by not displaying the titles/subtitles and positioning a div right there to show the text.
