It occurs for version 2.2.0, as you can see browsing with IE7 the updated president example (http://www.simile-widgets.org/exhibit/ examples/presidents/presidents.html). I made some other tests, using IE8 it works, but not with IE6 and IE7. As I said before, the same html code linked to the Exhibit 2.0 API works well.
