Hi Ora, Yes, starting with v 2.3.0, Timelines can have a start and end.
Set the values in the theme for your first band. See lines 30 and 31 on http://code.google.com/p/simile-widgets/source/browse/timeline/trunk/src/webapp/examples/test_example2/test_example2.html You will also probably want to add decorators before and after the "live" parts of your Timeline. See lines 76-97 in the example. Last tip: if your first event is at time t, then you probably do NOT want the start of the Timeline to be time t. Instead, subtract some amount of time so the first event can be completely seen. Amount would depend on the resolution of your Timeline: perhaps a day, a half day, a year, etc. Regards, Larry ________________________________ From: ora <[email protected]> To: SIMILE Widgets <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, April 1, 2009 8:41:53 AM Subject: does a band support a start and end time Hi, I was sure I saw somewhere that you can create a band with a specific start and end dates. But now I can find it - does any one how to do it?
