Yes, I know of that bug... Unfortunately, I cannot make my map larger at the moment. Your solution would be great: that after the bubble closes, it jumps right to the last known location. I have no clue how to do this (any pointers are appreciated ;-)
I am thinking of adding place-names that, when clicked, jumps the map to a certain location. So a click on the word 'Amsterdam' and the map centers on the city. etc. Has someone done that before?
