What is the proper (most efficient or preferred) format for using dates in Timeplot?
I have several time series text/cvs files with separate columns for year, month, day, hour, minute. (Much of my data is hourly or sub-hourly.) Would it be best to... 1) load the data as is and then process through javascript to merge strings or use something like "new Date(Date.UTC(2008,0,17,20,00,00,0))." 2) pre-process the data to create another column with an efficient format, maybe as "1995-02-04 10:20:01Z" or "1995-02-04T10:20:01+5:00"? 3) something else? - John ************************************************** John Callahan Geospatial Application Developer Delaware Geological Survey, University of Delaware 227 Academy St, Newark DE 19716-7501 Tel: (302) 831-3584 Email: [email protected] http://www.dgs.udel.edu ************************************************** --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
