Hi Malcom, Thanks!
1st: I mistyped in my msg below. I should have said the detailed painter rather than the compact painter. 2nd: regarding visual themes: docs and additional sample themes would be really really great. To change colors, I believe that everything is now controllable via css. Some of the selectors are a bit tricky. You can see the css from the css files in the source. They are in a couple of different sub directories. If you want to change the sizes of the tapes, etc, that is changed through the theme file. Remember that you need to load your themed css after the timeline javascript file. Pls let us know if you have any questions about the css as you develop new themes. I have only recently begun diving into a lot more scripting & web programming. That being said I would be happy to supply a patch when I figure it out. I would also be interested in providing a write up on developing themes as I haven't found a good explanation of this yet (unless I am missing it?) and I think if this process were clearly laid out would contribute greatly to the awareness/popularity of this project (which is totally great btw!).
