You said you had 10e8 triples which can be too much data for exhibit, but should not be that much for a relational database like postgresql. With http://www.cubicweb.org we build web applications with faceted browsing on top of postgresql. An example of such an application is http://collections.musees-haute-normandie.fr/collections/ To try it out go to http://collections.musees-haute-normandie.fr/collections/folder/119222 then click on the first tab named artitem. Facets are in the column on the left, the tabs are for changing views (list, themes, map, timeline). CubicWeb is licensed under the Less General Public License (LGPL). We would be interested in helping you reach the 10e8 mark in case it does not work out of the box (the above app contains 8000 artitems, but that would translate into many more triples of course).
