Hi,

I've been trying to use facets across different datatypes that are
directly linked, but do not share any attributes. Here's the scenario:

One has a collection of "Genes" that are each linked to items in
collection "Probes" (often one-to-many). I create a facet for Genes
that filters on their Bio-Process attribute, which works on all Gene
Collection views. But if I wish to view Probes, and then filter on
those probes associated with Genes with a specific Bio-Process
attribute, I cannot use the previously defined facet. Instead I have
to create another facet for collection-id "Probes" that uses an
indrection expression like "!hasProbes.bio_process".

Any suggestions on how to best handle this facet issue without
duplicating facets for each of the linked data types?

Eric
