I've been reading a lot on this discussion group, and have learned a lot. However, I haven't seen what I am looking for.
I have created an Exhibit with a map view and I have a couple of challenges. http://home.comcast.net/~rbmyers12/Exhibit/TXCountyData.html This site shows population by county in Texas, and shows schools for Harris County. 1. Is there a way, on the Data Map view, to have the population slider facet not affect items that don't have a population field? When we use the facet, it filters the counties, and removes the schools, since they don't have a population value. Is it possible to use a conditional expression here? Is there some value I could put in the school items that would match all populations? In general, I want to have multiple collections on a map, and have separate facets that effect each collection separately. In essence, overlays. 2. Is there a way to only show the facets that belong to the collection being displayed on the view? If someone suggests modifying the javascript, can someone explain how I overload the existing code? I'm pretty new to this. Thanks in advance. Risa --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
