You might find this a useful tool for doing certain data mash-up
projects: we here at Metaweb have just released Freebase Acre 1.0, a
free, hosted web app platform on which you can write and get hosted web
apps that mash up data from several sources, including Freebase. Watch

The language you develop in is Javascript (both client side and server
side). Acre has built-in OAuth support for talking to OAuth-enabled web
services.
