I went to the URL you provided with both FF (latest) and IE 7. As you
mentioned, FF works fine, IE does not.
I get the same "Failed to create view as Timeline" error. I tried
selecting the Start Date of 1500 and got the following:
"Caught exception:Error adding action{Select only 1500 in facet Start
Date} to history
Details: Object expected"

Are you seeing this as well?

After clicking "OK" in the error popup, the "Working" bubble continues
to sit there and indicate it is doing something
but nothing happens.

I too am having trouble getting a timeline to render properly in
IE6/7. In my case, the bands stop rendering to the left of
the middle of the DIV that the timeline is in. I get the feeling that
this is a 'timing" issue. But have not been able to track
it down yet.

Best of luck, hope this works for you. Nice layout by the way!
