Could you try those instructions and see if there's any log message that
might explain the problem?

I have also placed an "crossdomain.xml" as per the example
in the same directory as the .html file, in the root
directory ( http://restive.za.net/crossdomain.xml ) and
for good measure also in the /covers subdirectory in which
the images are.
