Transform your xml using JavaScript to apply the xslt, see
http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/xsl_client.asp. I've done this for
timeline.

Send me, or point me at a functional example of using local static xml
and a url that provides the xml and I may be able to provide a
functional example/solution.
