Timeline_DayLabel is a hack to labellers.js to add "a day label with your month when your interval unit are days."
http://code.google.com/p/simile-widgets/wiki/Timeline_DayLabel The hack didn't work straight out of the box for the 2.3.0 API, but it had all of the right pieces in play. I added a detailed comment to the page showing what got it working for me. I'm doing a very simple timeline. Since some of the sources refer to days of the week, having the names of the days appear in the labels is very useful for me. Thanks to the "french-speaking guy" who did the first version--and to all of the folks who have contributed to the development of the widget. Much appreciated.
